• The Library has a wide range of newspapers, magazines and academic journals in its Periodicals collection.
   
• The latest copy of a periodical can be used in the Library; earlier copies of periodicals are held under the sloping periodical shelves and can be borrowed for one week.
   
• Older copies of periodicals are held behind the desk - ask Library staff to locate them for you.
   
• If you use a Periodical in the Library please leave it for library staff to reshelve.
   
• Search tips:
  If you are looking for a Periodical on the library catalogue, use a title search and type in the word "Periodical" as well as the name of the magazine or journal.
   
• Find an article in a particular periodical without browsing through the whole stack. Wherever possible we have added a link from the library catalogue to a database.
