EBSCO Reference Centre

Provides access to three databases. Despite the description on the database, ANZ Reference Centre has high international coverage. Hospitality & Tourism Complete is a valuable resource for both degree and diploma tourism students. MasterFILE Premier is a multidisciplinary database covering subjects of general interest.

FindNZarticles is a search facility across a number of databases and is a tool for finding information about New Zealand.

Electronic Journals

Provides, full text, online access for selective periodical titles held in print on the Library shelves. The service also gives access to thousands of e-journals containing millions of articles.The 'Find Articles' box is on the righthand lower side of the screen. If you identify an article that is not held by IPC Library we may be able to interloan it.

A suite of full text databases covering history, literature, geography, biographies, art, science.

Health and Wellness Resource Centre

This full text database provides authoritative answers to health and medical questions from a huge range of over 700 health/medical journals. Topics covered include mainstream and alternative medicines, nutrition, diet, fitness and disease. It also includes an online medical encyclopedia and links to relevant websites.

Index New Zealand

Index New Zealand includes articles from New Zealand periodicals and newspapers. Full text is not available but many of the articles are in journals in the IPC library. Others can be interloaned.

Knowledge Basket

Knowledge Basket, a New Zealand research archive. It contains legal, business and scientific information resources, including Acts of Parliament, Bills before Parliament, Internet based New Zealand sources of law, refugee law and Waitangi Tribunal.

ProQuest Central NEW

A comprehensive multidisciplinary database and general reference resource. It includes access to over 11,500 publications with more than 8,500 available in full text. Compiled from 25 of ProQuest?s premier databases in over 160 subject areas, coverage includes: business, economics, current affairs, literature, geography, medicine, health, environment, library and information sciences, religion, education, careers, computing, and many other science and social science resources. Access periodicals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, newswires, reports, dissertations and working papers.

Offering the broadest coverage available in the life, health, physical and social science disciplines, Scopus draws on peer-reviewed periodicals from over 5,000 publishers, trade publications, book series, conference papers, web resources and patents. A standout feature is cited referencing, the ability to follow citations of articles forwards and backwards.
